Dr. Dimitrios Liparas received the BSc degree in Informatics in 2006, the MSc degree in Informatics and Management in 2008 and the MSc degree in Information Systems in 2010 from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He also holds a PhD degree on Statistical Machine Learning, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2015). He is currently a post-doctoral research fellow in Information Technologies Institute (ITI) at the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH). His research interests include Machine Learning, Data Mining, Statistical Analysis, Pattern Recognition and Multimedia Analysis. His scientific work has been published in international conferences and peer-reviewed journals.
